Aluminium curtian track installation aaaa
1. Preliminary information

The TS aluminium rail is designed exclusively for ceiling mounting and is available only as a single rail.

To create a double rail configuration, install two rails side by side using the appropriate ceiling brackets.

Before installation, check that the set is complete:

  • TS aluminium rail,
  • small or large rail curve (if included),
  • ceiling brackets (single or double – depending on the variant),
  • end caps,
  • connectors (if several rails are being installed),
  • voile curtain hanging components (if included in the set): AS sliders with eyelets plus optional screw hooks, AS safety pin sliders or TS swivel clips.

2. Measurement and installation planning

Measure the installation site for the rail carefully and plan its position in relation to the wall and window, taking into account the curtain/voile curtain hanging system and any protruding features (e.g. radiators, window sills). Mark the positions for the ceiling brackets on the ceiling.

Recommended bracket spacing: approx. 20 cm from each end of the rail, approx. 70 cm between consecutive brackets.

3. Installing the first end cap

Install an end cap on one end of the track and tighten it using a screwdriver or power driver to prevent the elements from sliding out of the track.

4. Connecting tracks or installing bends (if applicable)

When extending the system with additional tracks or curved elements, use a dedicated connector for the aluminium TS track. Place the connector onto both tracks so that the screws face the window. Then press the elements together so that no gap remains and tighten the connector firmly to ensure a stable connection.

5. Selecting brackets (applies to a double track)

When installing a double rail, you can use:

  • a standard double bracket,
  • a wide double bracket – recommended for installing voile curtains and pencil pleat curtains on a Wave track to ensure the fabric hangs correctly.

6. Inserting fabric hanging elements

Insert the voile curtain or net curtain hanging components into the rail channel, depending on the system chosen:

  • eyelet sliders – for voile curtains and net curtains with the flex system,
  • eyelet sliders + ‘snail’ hook – for voile curtains and pencil pleat curtains.

Note: the eyelet slider should be inserted with the elongated part facing the room – see photo

  • safety-pin sliders – designed to be clipped onto the gathering tape sewn into the voile curtain or pencil pleat curtain,
  • swivel clips – for voile curtains and pencil pleat curtains on gathering tape,
  • for curtains and voile curtains on the Wave system, it is necessary to use dedicated sliders connected by a cord, which should be added when ordering the curtains/voile curtains.

7. Fitting the second end cap

After inserting all elements into the track, install the second end cap and tighten it using a screwdriver or power driver to prevent the elements from sliding out of the track.

8. Fitting the ceiling brackets

Drill holes in the marked positions and fit the ceiling brackets using suitable wall plugs and screws (suitable for the type of ceiling). Ensure that the brackets are fitted correctly – the longer arm should face towards the window – see diagram.

9. Clipping in the aluminium TS track

Clip the aluminium TS track into the previously installed ceiling brackets, pressing it evenly along the entire length until it is properly seated.
